this came on a rock i got with some zoa's seem's to be growing and getting little polyps coming out of it

My guess would be some sort of Porites (Porites rus ?) or Montipora (maybe Montipora spumosa), but a close photo showing the septa would help confirm.

it may be competing for real estate with the zoos
both have very diff requirements so it may not fair well together.
