ID please.....

i got this on a big piece of LR....its red and fuzzy.....plus it seems to grow like a tree......hopefully someone can ID...i wanna know if i should remove it or keep it....

looks like some sort of macro algae from the rock covered in cyanobacteria to me.

really hard, if not impossible to id from the pic. is it hard or is it soft?

its soft........unless the red fuzzy stuff on it is from it dying....i dont know....i'll try to get a clearer pic...
