Any idea what these are? There are two growing at the bad of corals and one growing on my live rock. They are tube like growth that are coiled. I was thinking tube worms, but I don?t see any signs of life in them. But they are continuing to grow.

Hmm I wonder if that?s why my hammer coral hasn?t been fully extending lately. There is one on the base of its frag cut.

Wow, actually now that I look closely there is a super thing stringy web coming up from this one and touching the side of the coral.

Often on newer tanks and it?s part of the natural cycle of one thing growing out of control then another, then another, etc. cutting back on feeding helps. Eventually they will disappear (in my experience).
