Scorpionfish?

Hi, netted this guy when he was a couple inches on Oak Beach last year. Now about 6 inches. Have done a bunch of reading and have to believe he is a stray but can't ID what type of scorpionfish. Any ideas?

rockfish/stonefish - yes venemous

Figured on the venemous part! Thought it may be a Spotted Scorpionfish
