coraline algae crab?

I found the remains (or cast off shell) of a small crab at the bottom of my tank today.
The strange part is, it is bright purple, The same as my coraline algae!
Has anybody else ever had or seen one of these before?
Know what it is?
good .....bad?

c'mon....your telling me nobody has ever seen one of these before?

See if you can scrape off the purple. If you can you can see what the true color is underneath. If it doesnt come off then its a purple crab.......heh
