i realized that with esv salt you have to use a digital scale to measure each level. those scoops and measuring cups are not accurate. i use to always have the same problem as you.. salinity way to high.. once i got the scale a few weeks ago--all levels are right on the spot. i got a nice scale from amazon for 18 bucks..works perfect
I took a gallon milk jug and added 5 of them to a Lowes bucket I cleaned out. When I had 5 in there I used a Sharpie to mark it.
Jer,
but now the question where to the top of the tank is 55 gallons to the black rim?
Empty the tank. Take a gallon milk jug and fill the tank with 6 of them. Measure the distance to the water line and subtract that from the top of the tank. Should give you a rough 49 gallon fill mark. Or do it your way.
this is why you work for the faa and i work for honda damm you are so smart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:banghead:
Might be a good idea...are you SURE that a 55g tank holds 50g of water? Get exact INSIDE measurements to figure total INSIDE/actual volume, and gallons per inch!what i can do is get a 55 gallon pail and make it in there and then pump it in the holding tank?
