What disease did my clownfish die of?

I recently purchased two clowns from a vendor and they became ill quickly. What did this clownfish die of? The dealer claimed they were previously treated with copper. I also removed them from my main tank and started treating copper yesterday.

The animal looks like it was beaten up but it would be impossible to give a definitive answer as to what killed it by just looking at this picture.

When I first brought the clownfish last week, this fish was attacking my other clown thats still alive. Now that other clown got a little better and started attacking it, but not as bad. It had some white thorny looking like mountain tuffs on its head area.

yea it looks like they cought him in a dark cave and beat him silly, what other fish do u have?

I put my two ill clowns in a quarantine tank with copper yesterday. It did not have bitten fins until today. In my 20 gallon long tank I have a lawnmower blenny and a sixline wrasse.

In the display tank, but I separated the clowns with eggcrate so they had time to heal.. Yesterday I moved them to a 10 gallon acrylic sump fish tank and this is what happened. Ill post all the pics I got from day one:

Dead aggressive clown, Notice the white tuff under its chin.

Now, The dead aggressive clown fell ill quickly and Was beaten up by the other beaten clown.

The caged clown in my display it still alive. The dead clown is the one that was rooming around. I placed them in a 10 gallon acrylic sump tank yesterday and found this clown dead.

hmmm and u didnt see anyone beating on him? he anal fins are nipped to tubs.

The other clown beat him up when he was dying it was nipping at him. But the two clowns have some sorta disease. I don't know what it is.

it looks like some sort of fungus, my female clown gets it sometimes. but i dont think thats what killed it..clowns are quite hardy.

I might dip the clown in formalin when I get it in the mail like next week.

i wouldnt, just feed it the good stuff and watch it. many time treating a fish can be too stressful for there current state. IMO

I took it out of the main tank and placed it in quarantine though with copper. A few days ago I thought my wrasse was getting sick, but now it looks ok..

Feed food soaked in Selcon and Garlic.
