Best bang for your buck?

I'm looking for a new or used proteen skimmer , I have a 55 gallon tank , with a about 35 gallon sump/fuge. What's a good well working in sump pump? What do you use I'm tryna spend as little as possable(under 100$)

my advice dont skimp out on the skimmer. get a good one now so u wont have to pay for a new one later. sometimes the cheap stuff usually cost more on the long run.

And get the one for the tank you want next, not the tank you have now.

mtc power pro ...5 feet tall...skim a way...just kidding ...but everyone is right get a good skimmer now ...no sense in spending money twice...

For under $100 I would try to find a used euroreef. I used an old ES5-3 on a 65gal and that skimmed the tank decently.

Ok I've learned a lott sence making this thread... Ok let's say I want a 120 gallon tank, and I want a good skimmer to work in the sump well, but I need it to fit under my current 55, I'm
Making the sump chamber to fit the skimmer so just hight would be an issue, let me know what I should get. Some recomendations, and if any one has a good one for sale! thanks in advance!
