There are, for the most part, two types of equipment in this hobby:
a) quality equipment that has a good track record, with a very low record of failure.
b) questionably equipment that has a reputation for failure, with a few exception of success.
Odyssea stuff would be in group B. If you use the search function for "Odyssea" in this website, or any website for that matter, you'll see many supporting my claim. From personal experience, the ballast on a lighting fixture I bought from them cracked and melted and I was lucky to have spotted it before any harm was done.
There are no equipments that are 100% successful with 0% failure. You work out the cost vs failure vs safety, etc. Choose wisely and good luck.
