Also included in this is an updated video ... he apparently stripped down his tank to focus more on hard corals and smaller fish (I suppose fish that don't reach 3' now only 2' )

David's aquarium is spectacular - but it also attracts controversy. Some purists have described his system as a flashy display of colourful fish and corals with no resemblance to a natural reef.

aha....Im actually off to see Davids tank in the flesh so to speak next week. I had some shots of the system sent across last week and ive got to say it is looking stunning, so im looking forward to the trip.

Hi Simon! Finally you get to see it in person! I am very jealous! Please take many photos of it as you can and post them here! I am so curious to see what he did with his tank in the last year! Also if you can sneak some shots of the brains of his operation that would be amazing!

Tis stunning but imo i dont think its the best in the Uk .. Dont know David Saxby but i cant imagine him giving himself the self titled honour of that statement, Sure if he thinks it is thats ok, But ''best'' not really
I can think of 2 or 3 tanks further south that pound for pound look better, I guess i must be one of those purists that PFK mentioned then.
