lifegard inline filter

i have a reef tank with a hangon fuge in the back. i was wondering if anyone used lifegard inline filters before, the one with 4 chambers and if they have suggestions. i might use the lifegard for a new reef tank. thanks

you mean the one with the mechanical, chemical, heating and UV chambers right? If so, I use the double chemical chamber for carbon and the single UV 8 watt chamber and I like them and the way they fit on my tank

Would you also be using a skimmer as well?
For what size tank?

I think it helps keep everything nice and neat and I like everything to be in order (kinda OCD lol) so yeah I would recommend it. although i haven't had experience with the mechanical one so i dont know how well it works. The uv and chemical units work fine for me though. trying to buy the mechanical one actually. look on ebay, usually they have good deals on individual units

46 gallon bowfront and i will have a skimmer as well

We've used the Lifegard media chamber for carbon. Works well.
