well summer's here and you know how hot it can get. I wrote a while ago about having my chiller repair maybe 5 months ago?
I must say it was hard finding people that specialize in aquarium repairs. Usually AC repair guys do fridges and commerical stuff.

I finally found someone local and he found a small leak with my chiller. He fixed the problem and recharged it for $100... Now it's running better than ever (sinceI got it used).

I gave Keith a call and the guy really knows his stuff. I dropped off my chiller for repair and I'll keep everyone posted on the out come. It's starting to get hot so for anyone that's in need to get a chiller repaired nows the time.

Sam if it needs a charge it probably has a leak. I'll let you know sam as soon as I get mine back. Give him a call Im sure he'll be reasonable.
I'll lot of refidgarator rapair shops don't really know to much about these kind of units. It's better to have some who knows how to fix them better.

if the chiller dosn't have a leak it won't need to be charged at all. I had a ac for 15 years and it was still cooling very well I through it out because the fan gave out.

Yea I know what you mean. I rather have someone that has experience with these units. also if your chiller is in need of some parts that may require some time he can lend you one til he fixes your unit. can't go wrong with that.

Got my chiller back on friday and wow what a great job he did. Cleaned it all up any screws that was missing he replaced. for some reason it sounds less noisy now. One good thing with Keith is that he gave me a call to make sure every thing was all right I will continue to do business with him from now on.
