Hermit crabs

How does 1.25 each sound from a LFS. I know they are much cheaper on line, but would rather not deal with a large or minimum order type deal. Is a $1.25 each a good price for small blue leg hermits?

I spoke with a person at the LFS I know and he said that they were small hermits, have to assume 1/2" or so? Have not seen them yet.

Well I scrapped the hermits and went with one giant sea hare and 15 XXL nassarius snails, just placed an order with Mike from NY Aquatics.

Good cause Blue legged hermits are nasty...they will murder all of your snails and other hermits....and will kill each other...well at least from my experience....

I had plenty of shells for mine and a blue legged killed my nice red scarlet hermit for its shell then decided it didnt want it and took another...:arg:

Wow, good thing I went with the hare and snails.

Damn, if I were you I would have taught those little buggers a lesson or two. I would have placed them all in a seperate tank with several hungry triggers, that would teach them to play nice LOL.
