I was over at this store yesterday. Anyone been?

Great selection of fish and corals. He had Superman Monti, Pokerstar Monti 3" pieces 20% off his corals for this whole week. He also had rare micromussa, Fire and Ice Chalice Echino and orange crush acan (nice size pieces).

For fish he had some really nice reefsafe fish. Velvet Wrasse, Pinktail Trigger(small), Bluethroat Trigger(small), Helfrichi fire fish, and a Watanabe Angel he was holding for someone.

I was there a few weeks ago and mentioned the store in a post, a really nice place.
The owners name is Will and he really cares about the fish (actually heavily feeds them), QT's & treats fish that come in not healthy too. The store/tanks are immaculately clean.
He carries ALL of the Salifert test kits, stocks lockline, bulkhead fittings including the elusive 3/4" that I've seen numerous folks needing in a hurry.
Also salt & a bunch of other SW & FW supplies.

He's about 15 miuntes over the Goethals bridge and I am definitely going back!

I love Aquatic Obsessions ... I'm there 4 times a week.

Will gets really great corals and great fish.

I got an Achilles tang and that Watanabe Angel he was holding was for me.lol.

Can't say enough good things about this place.

They are located on St.Georges Ave in Avenel, NewJersey .. in a little shopping center next to burgerking.

The shopping center has UPS/FancyPups/H&R Block .. so if you don't see their sign look for these other ones.




P.S. HI KATHYC!!!! Missed you at the last meeting. Next Central Jersey Meeting or North Jersey Meeting I will be expecting you there. And if you want to car pool we can do that too. I'm sure Will appreciates all the kind words.

P.P.S. Crox ... Serie A is going to be amazing this year. Last year having Juventus, Napoli, Genoa in Serie B was more exciting than last years Serie A without Juve ... but this year Serie A is going to be good. I can't wait until August 26th.

Went down to this store again today.

They are getting ready to put in a new Coral tank 4'x4'. I can't wait to see what corals he gets after this coral table gets done.

I picked up a few things while I was there. Thier prices are so much better than anyplace in NY. He had an amazing Montipora Danea about 6-7" across in the low $100's. Beautiful pink birds nest for $69.00 it was huge!!

Anyway I was talking to the guy there and he said there was going to be a sale in October for thier one year anniversary. He was telling me to check thier forum thread on www.njreefer.org for updates. The only thing wrong with this place is that it's not closer. But well worth the ride. If you haven't been there yet, you should.

I went in there today and he had an enormous 6"-7" Scolymia for $149. Amazing colors too.

LiveAquaria sells them for $249.00 + shipping. Great deals.

I have recently visited this store in NJ. They are having a sale on Oct 12th from 4pm to 11pm almost like a midnight madness that Absolutley Fish holds, however it is more of a celebration for there first year anniversary. The prices are reasonable. I bought a 3" X-mas Wrasse for $24.99. I think that was a good price. I have seen them for about $40 in stores.

The owner told me they were going to have a 25% and more on all livestock and items.The sale is suppose to start at 4pm to 11pm. From what I saw the selection in fish is nice and some nice LPS corals. Dry goods he had was good to. There address is 1150 St. Georges Avenue in Avenel, NJ 07001.

If anyone can add to this please do so...
