Luckily I was off today..since it ended up to be a 'pick-up' day.
II needed to pick up from 2 group buys that I had joined and wanted to swing by JH's place & see his tank and procure a few zoas..
First stop was NJ..ended up meeting the fellow (Mike) from NJRA at Aquatic Obsessions in Avenel, NJ...really glad we met there!! I have to give this place a plug here. I was very impressed with the store... very clean, the tanks were WELL taken care of, nice selection (the Scotts Fairy Wrasse was fantastic!!),nice corals and he had so much STUFF..things you usually can't go into just any store and find.
He stocks lockline, bulkheads (yup even the 3/4" that nobody locally ever has), ALL the Sailfert test kits, Lugols dip..right there for the buying!
The owners name is Will and he is really nice and very knowledgable & passionate about the hobby.
The store is about 15 minutes (tops) past the Goethals..well worth the trip.
The NJRA pick up ...got a bunch more rics (blues!!)& and a bunch of hermits & snails to add to my cleaning crew in anticipation of my upgrade
Then I visited JH's..finally got to see his tank (very nice!), his cat Mocha (soooo sweet, she napped on my handbag while I visited) and scored some pretty zoas while there! Thanks Jon!!
Off to Marron's for the pick up from the GB here earlier this week. More pretty things though the Yellow Fiji was smaller than I anticipated..the visit with Michael & Sebastian (his beautiful cat) more than made up for it!
Just another day in a reefers world..:bagfish: + :cat: + = :flower:
Thanks guys!!
