salt mix HELP!

I know this is not "off topic" but i've been out of reefkeeping for 2 yrs and my brain didn't hold all that information. How much salt measure do I mix per gallon?

Usually about 2 handfuls per 5 gallon... but I'd do a salinity test.

Yikes. Sorry, it's two-two handfuls. Cupped together. Oops. ...but I did cover myself - use a tester!

I use 7 x 1/2 cups to get 6 gallons of water to 1.025 with IO salt. I added an extra 1/4 or 1/2 when I used Reef Crystals.
