Last night I bought a zoa frag and when I got home I noticed there was a tiny crab with zoa's all over his shell. He is not a typical decorator crab, his boby shape is different. His shape is more like the evil hitcher crabs you see people trying to get ID'd. He just hangs out near the main colony, he doesnt move much during the day and he doesnt seem to be munching them(plus if he was eating them why would he put em on his back). So..anyone have something like this or know what he is? I'll post pics sometime soon. Thanks for any help

There's actually many species (genus, in fact) of decorator type crabs, so I'm guessing you have one of the rarely encountered ones in this hobby. I'd love to see a pic :)

We used to put decorator crabs into tanks with loose zoa's and palys to create better looking crabs :D

They aren't reef safe due to their habit of havesting new decorations/camo ;)

Austin, please ignore the children.

I, however, would love to see a picture.
