I've always wondered...they don't sell it, or even say what it is, but they've been using its image in their catalogs for years now.

Looks like a dottyback to me, but can't find anything that resembles it in any of my books. Anyone?

Found it! SM's book vol II. pg. 37 Cephalopholis fulva, Coney: juv w/ rare yellow, or xanthic color morph. Sorry no digi cam. Bermuda to S. Florida to S. Brazil. I am going on my first scuba trip next spring to Belize. I will try to catch one for you. LOL Hey Dizzy gets a prize for the Genus doesn't he? The one in the catalog pic Drs uses has less spots I think. Here is the real question really, Would Drs Foster & Smith know what the fish is in their catalog? Don't get me started on the keeping octipi is easy bit they printed 2 years ago.

I must retort, Dizzy is probably correct. More blue spots than I realize. If it is more of an orange w/ blue spots C. miniate juv color phase. If it is yellow w/ less numerous blue spots, than definitly a yellow coney juv. SM lists the yellow juv Coney as a rare color form. Now all we have to do decide if the pic fish is yellow or orange. Looks yellow to me but,..............
