Any kind of CA glue, CYANOACRYLATE ADHESIVE, is fine in your tank. Krazy glue is CA. Gel is the best - I use it all the time to glue frags. Dry the part of the frag you want to glue down, put a small bit of glue on it (if you use too much it takes a while to dry), push the glue against the surface you want the frag on and hold it for about 30 seconds. This can be done in the tank.

Many people use and recommed using CA glue to hold frags. It is also mentioned in much of the literature.

The bond of CA glues can be fragile in your tank. If you bump it, it will come apart. It is best used to hold frags in place until they grow onto and over the glue bond.

Some stores sell 'reef safe' glues, but they are just CA glue as well.

Righty is correct - cyanoacrylate is what you want. I've used Super Glue gel with great results. Keep it in the freezer - it thickens up and is easier to work with that way.

reefworm: that's a good tip.

As far as the Krazy brand gel goes, I've had minor issues with the packing of it. It seperates over time, or doesn't sell well and I've been buying old stock. The last 4 tubes I've bought have had to be mixed, and I found that out the hard way when I squired some out onto a frag and nothing but watery glue came out and ran down the whole side of a nice acropora; which recovered fortuntately.

The Kent brand glue is just the same stuff in an aquarium-store friendly package. For those who can't read the ingredients on the label.

Also caution with the loctite brand, several of theres has more than just CA in it. The Locitie Quicktite Gel is just CA, but they sell several other types of superglue gel that are CA + some other chemicals for a stronger bond.
