Nori can usually be found at an asian market.

I feed mine spirulana (sp?) flake and nori.

You can also buy the green algea in sheets at your LFS but I can't remeber the brand name off hand.

Seaweed Selects from Ocean Nutrition can be found at the LFS. It comes in green, red and brown. My tangs prefer the green.

Before you go to an asian market, try your local supermarket in the ethnic aisle. I buy my nori there and it is much cheaper than the LFS.

I buy the spirulina discs. They are hard and fall to the bottom. The tangs forage on them for some time.

When you buy the nori, just make sure it's not seasoned -- some are seasoned with soy sauce or other ingredients, so just check the list of ingredients (unless you think your tangs will like soy sauce

) Also, if you can find an Asian market in your area, they are usually a lot cheaper than the supermarkets.

Many tangs are actually omnivore, yellow is one of them. You should feed your yellow mixed food type but kept plant based food as dominant source of nutrition.

Almost ALL tangs in captivity are predominantly omnivores, since they don't have environmental factors effecting / limiting food source.

Feed your tangs a balanced diet. Either "nori" or "vegetable-based" dry food preparations. Supplement foods with HUFA's, like "Selcon".

Keep food portions small & skip a feeding every other day to maintain a healthy, fit & happy Tang.
