what temp pc bulb should i be using?

i am going to be purchasing pc lighting for my eclipse 6 and they offer two temps of white bulbs one is 6400K and the other is 5000k. which should i choose in addition to the blue if i want to raise mushrooms and maybe an anemone?

I have those same lights and use the 6400k, but I might switch to a 10,000k. I wish I could find a 20,000k.

Go with 6400K, unless you can find a 10000K bulb. I switched to PC 10000K 2 months ago and I think the tank looks much better.

you just convinced me to get a 10,000k for my PC setup. The 6400k is a bit too white for my liking. Now watch, as soon as get this bulb, I'll find a 20,000k which is what I really want. But anyway, thanks for making up my mind for me!

yup buy it, I have both a 6500 and 10k. I swap the 2 of them every other month or so (think of it this way, you'll need replacement bulbs later anyways, right?)
