I have a brain that has 2 seperate necks to say but is attached at the bottom. is it possible to seperate them? what would be the best way? Or should this not be attempted.
It can be done and with little to no harm to the coral if only the old skeleton (with no living tissue attatched to both pieces) connects the 2 brains. A small saw would work, but be really careful. To tell you the truth i've had good luck with an old pair of PVC cutters if the piece is close to the right shape and not extremely dense. If its just skeleton away from the living part at the top it can be done but if you have to cut thru live tissue, don't do it! HTH
