I have a Banggai cardinal in my 50 gallon reef. I have had him for 2 weeks now. He fit in very well all of my other small fish and was well able to compete for food. Everything looked fine up until last night when I noticed that he was not eating at all. I just got home from work to find him on and near the substrate breathing heavily. He is not very responsive to my hand near the tank. His color looks more flesh toned instaead of his natural silver appearance.
This is the 3rd banggai I have ever had. It will most likely be the last if he does not recover. I really hate to see another banggai taken from the wild only to not survive. Is there anything that I can do to help him? Freshwater dip. Quarantine tank with with some type of med? Thanks fo rany help anyone can offer. My 50 gallon
