Yesterday I noticed a lot of little bubbles in my tank. Around 1/16" in diameter. I was thinking they were from the PH, but I am not sure. They are on my polyps, blue linkia and on the underside and the sides of my LR.

Is this the onset of some algea?

TIA

Do you see where they are coming from?

From the sandbed? Probably just Nitrogen outgassing...that's good.

From the return line/pump? May need to throttle back the flow a little if the pump is able to handle it. Others may know more about that.

HTH,

Ed

I forgot to mention, right now my tank is a totally stand alone system. No sump, no pump, just two PHs and a CC substrate.

I do not see where they are coming from. The PH usually puts out really small bubbles (1/64" diameter). So I do not think it is that, but it could be. Hopefully this weekend I will have the sump connected and everything will be better (is that possible).
