I've been battleing a brown soft overgrowth on the cup,for more than a month.Some sort of cyano that slowly killed the polyps(3-4 /day).I've soaked the whole thing in iodine and left it in a bowl over night,but didn't help.
Last time the stuff was so badly developed,looked like the bouble coral.All the cup is gone now,I took it out.
Someone mentioned about RTN.What is that?
Nothing else in the tank is affected,it was just annoying the cup.
I intend to use the rock later.Is it enough sterilization if I boil it?
