I recently purchased a small dog face puffer who probably has not yet acclimated to a tank enviroment. He appears hungry but spits out the frozen brine or squid that is offered. He does blow the fine crushed coral base probably looking for my starfish, snails, and hermits.
I have several spotted puffers in my other tanks and they love brine and do not touch my crabs or even the cleaner shrimp! Is the dog face a lot different? Any dining suggestions to keep him full and uninterested in my other livestock?
