I only see Actinic in the 55W variety of the PC bulbs. It seems that all of the 96W PC bulbs are 7100K "Blue". I would like to pick up some 96W Actinic bulbs, and was just wondering if they were the same thing.
No they are not the same. I have the 96 Watt Actinic 03. IMO they look much better than the 7100k, which I have been told is a white bulb with a blue lense.
Call Joseph at Marine Depot, thats who I got my bulbs from.
I had the 96 watt 7100 PC bulbs and just replaced them with true actinics. There is a much better color from the true actinics. I bought mine from www.premiumaquatics.com
