Check out Dallas North Aquarium though, they may have something you gotta have. They have a nice display tank out of place at one end of the store that has nice pieces in it.</STRONG><HR></BLOCKQUOTE>
I'd just like to report a few positive things about DNA from this weekend. I went into pick up some DTs and frozen foods.
Some of the prices have come down lately--in part because I tell the manager every time I go in if something is too high. On one of their display tanks, they had drawn a diagram of the nitrogen cycle, showing the ammonia and nitrite graphs and then rising nitrates. At the point where nitrite crossed nitrate, it said "Safe for Fish." What I liked was that the graph said that the time before it was "Safe for Fish" was SIX WEEKS. Now that's being responsible.
Also, I have noticed that their fish stock seems much healthier lately. I also overheard an LFS employee telling a customer "You've already got enough fish in your tank, and you really shouldn't add any more fish to your system."
I've been going to DNA for quite some time, and I'll say that I've seen lots of improvement all the way around over the past 6 months.
And, NO, I don't work there and no one paid me to write this. It's just that over the course of the 20 minutes I was there, I witnessed two very responsible things--the chart on the display tank with a 6-week timeline and the advice from the LFS employee not to buy any fish.
