How do you all attach your light to your hood? Someone glued mine and it came off. I am thinking screws & bolts? What a pain.

If your talking about sockets and and clips, screws and bolts into the reflector ( a space between the reflector and canopy by spacers ), spacers glued and wood screwed into the canopy and the reflector itself is screwed by wood screws thru the spacers.
This way the whole reflector, sockets and clips can be removed intact.
Hope that makes sense.;-)

It is best to use corrosion resistant hardware. I'm not sure what is locally available for you, but I'm sure the hardware salesman could help. Also, it would be advisable to mount the screws in such a way that they are not exposed to salt spray.

Thanks, I'll be making a trip to the hardware store today then. I don't think my ballast is very happy right now, I can only imagine. I'll be happy if it stays on. The tank is fine, except for the whole no nice lights on atm.
