Hello,

I have recently started using Kent A/B.

I travel a lot and want to get opinions on dripping Kent A/B. I though about mixing 4 to 5 days worth of chem's in a gallon container and setting a drip to dose the mixture over the 4 to 5 days I am on the road.

Just wanted to get ideas if this could work or if there would be a problem by mixing the A and B and letting it set over the 4 or 5 days as it drips into the system.

Thanks

You can't mix the two components together. You may be able to drip them simulatneously from two separate containers. However, someone with a little more experience with this product will have to let you know their thoughts about adding them with simultaneous drips.

James is right, you can't mix them together. Although it's fun to try

You get a gelatinous chalk-like material that forms instantly.

One option is the Vario dosing pump from Two Little Fishies. It will take three separate line. At a recent trade show they had it set up to dose an A/B supplement and phytoplankton at the same time.

If you did just a simple drip container, you probably wouldn't be able to get an even rate between the two, but as long as you end up with the same amount dosed at the end of the day, I don't think it would cause any problems.

I built a two part dosing system for ESV
B-Ionic many years ago based on their design.

It worked well untill I switched back to kalk. (Student at the time and Kalk was much cheaper!)
