Hello everyone.

I Just got back from a couple days of tennis with some friends in Albany.

Whenever I stay there Ivy and I stop in on Atlas Aquariums. It seems they had to take back a reef tank from a customer. I picked up a Used MH 250w with a new bulb for $175. This is not one of those assemble your self, really high quality, of course I watched it come on. The lady behind me bought the other 250w and I think there is a 400w left. Also he is selling the livestock, some beautiful corals, some HUGE pieces of liverock. One piece I looked at was a good size piece of rock with @15 - 20 large Orange Metallic Shrooms, only $50 you would have to see the piece to understand.
Any way he is looking to move the stuff quick to recover the debt from the customer and he is unloading all the pieces of this tank at very reasonable prices. He is closed Sundays, but here is his Number 912-435-7395.

Thought ya'll would want to know.

Thanks for the info. I'll just catch the next flight out of hell and pick some of it up. Why do things like this pop up every time I'm over here!!!

I just noticed... you hit post #500...

Guess I need to stop reading and start typing...

Sump is going to have a Skimmer area, at least one over/under baffle, refugium area, and an insert you can fill with Carbon/whatever that will get 100% water flow. I'm trying to come up with a way to isolate the skimmed water from the un-skimmed water. Not sure if it will make much difference, but I'll like to try it.

Hey Marty, glad to hear all is well, but mostly glad its you there and not me. I made my own sump and would be happy to have you come and see it when you get back if you would like. Keep cool.

Sorry Marty I have been outside building a hood for my light. Waiting for the liquid nails to dry.

I would just try to incorporate some baffels in your designs and make it where you can add some mesh filters where the water enters just in case there are times for the need temporarily.

Steve, Thanks for the invite...The main problem I'm having is coming up with something that will handle the overflow of the 180 and 30 and at the same time have a reugium that I can grow the algaes for the Tang and Angle. Space is a big issue as the 30g tank is under the 180 so the dimensions of the sump will have to be 14x30 max and no higher then the 30. I'm also needing all the water drains, skimmer hook-up, and return pump all on the same side of the sump. I think I can get buy with it with if I have some sort of auto top-off system. I'm working on a few drawings now.. Not sure how I can post them yet.

I just changed the e-mail in my profile to my e-mail here... Fill free to to use it...
