I have stumbled upon the Pet Stop in Hanford. They have beautiful display tanks, one with VHO and another with power compacts(great comparison if your undecided). It is a nice facility with good selection(lots of high end).
Better yet, they sell Walt Smith aquacultured and Fiji live rock for $5.00 a pound. They come packed with tons of life and good growth. My pieces had several sponges, snails, living porites, and no stink. Given the fact that you could hand pick your pieces, this price is cheap.
I am only telling Central CA residents this because I am almost done shopping for live rock.
