Check out my Cadlights 5 gallon. Its been up and running for about 6 months now with basically no problems.

Wow, you have a tang in your tank. I hope it was a joke, and you have a big tank to put him in. Otherwise, it's really nice tank.

Nice tank ,,,But that tang belongs in much bigger tank

Thanks for the compliments, I had the tang in there for about 2 months, he doubled in size, so i moved him to a larger tank.

nice. i would watch that grape caulerpa. it can grow rapidly and root onto your rocks

The lighting is the stock cadlights system: 1 8 watt 10K and 1 8 watt actinic

Thanks. It's a nice tank. Do you think the same lighting would work for a 5 gallon? I plan on only keeping mushrooms and maybe polyps.

My tank is a 5 gallon. Cadlights sells them on their website, they also have a lighting upgrade to 4 bulbs, but i think the 2 is fine. I've had the tank running for about 6 months with basically no mods, and its doing great.

what is your plan for summer when temperature is around 95-100?

i am thinking of getting a 10gal tank for my cousin but don't know how to handle hot temp

My apt stays pretty cool, but if it gets out of control then i will get one of those nano chillers. The open top does a nice job of dissipating heat, but causes a lot of evaporation.
