Hydor Koralia Water Circulation Pump?

has anyone use them yet? im looking to purchase 2 powerheads for circulation in my 50 breeder.....
im thinking either the hydor/seio/tunze nano....
the ones with a magnet mount would be great....
tunzes are quite expensive but looking at my options before i charge 2 tunze's to my credit card.

also....would 2 600gph pump be enough for mostly zoos and a some sps or do you recommend a higher flow?

ask inline6 he has them and he sounds pretty happy i believe he has a tank around your range.im thinking of trying them in my 90.

Yup I have the Hydor pump 4, I believe its rated for 1200gph @ only 12w.
I like it! Could be better with a controller though, crazy amount of flow.

For filtration I use the smallest Coralife Superskimmer rated for 65g and a refugium w/cheato. Why do I use the Coralife Skimmer? I kinda don't believe in overskimming a mixed reef tank, yeah you kinda need it for SPS, but I really do believe in having some nutrient levels in the mixed reef tank.

BTW - I would try 1 1200gph first, before buying the other.
Also I noticed alot of price fixing with these pumps after I got mine it went up $12+

i got the octopus recirc nw150 rated for 180g.....now you got me thinking its way too much skimming.......
and by the time i do decide on the circ pump.....and the prices going up also.....i might as well get the tunze nanostreams!!
drs foster seems to have most of them on backorder now.

I'm keeping the model 4, I sold the model 3 (too much flow, which is why I wish there was a controller for these)

Guys, just so you know I felt that the Hydor pump #4 had a nice dispersion of current, while pump #3 didn't have that nice dispersion.
Maybe the smaller pumps run at a higher rpm to get more gph?
Not sure.
