Algae I D needed

Can anyone if this. It's brown has a few little bubbles and is thick and stringy

That's what I'm afraid of. What would cause it and how do you rid it. I had a phosphate spike about 2 weeks ago and now I have this. I hooked a phosphate reactor up last week.

Hydrogen peroxide, 1 ml per 10 gallon of water - daily.

Sunny will the peroxide effect anything else?

I never saw any issues with anything. Make sure you dose as recommended.

Tagging along I've had little patch like this small little bubbles in what looks like brown slime.. Wil peroxide hurt coral/fish?

Johnny that's how mine started I would throw a p/h on it to blow it off but would come back then it just went boom and it's everywhere

Peroxide does not hurt coral or fish. Zoas may close for 10 - 15 minutes but will open right after. I have dosed peroxide in my reef many a times.

Yea I check all my levels n everything is on point.. I just realized yesterday my bulb for my cheato and algae section in my sump has been out.. Maybe this could be the problem who now show long it's been out but has to be a while cause cheato has shrank where usually I would've cut it 2-3 times in a month.. Put a new light see what happens

After reading those articles has anyone used peroxide as a daily dose for maintenance?

Phosphate level reads .08 today down another .02 when I hit .02 how do I make it stop from going to zero?

Also day two of dosing peroxide still don't see a change yet
