Does anyone see a problem with thawing blender mush and keeping it on the ready, in a cup of tank water in the refrigerator?

Maybe for 2-3 days?

I know it don't take long to thaw a cube of food but would also like to be able to walk in the fish room ,open the fridge and feed a small amount at any given time quickly.

Thinking I a would be able to feed more frequently at smaller amounts, lessening the possibility of food settling or getting missed by fish.

for 2 or 3 days worked for me, but family, especially my wife did not like seeing fish food in a container and it was a very nice air tight food storage container.

Keep the fridge on the cold side and it will be fine, as long as the fish food container is a welcomed addition

No problem Mike. It will discolor and stink when it's time to toss it. Have you been feeding more? Colors getting deeper in display?

Yes,
Deeper colors maybe a little but it's only been about a month and I'm still slowly raising my light intercity.

Still thinking I'm not going to get what I'm looking for unless I switch to MH lol
I'm loving the MH over my 30 rimless.:thrash:

Remaining optimistic and like I said its a work in progress.

use new fresh salt water, tank water has bacteria in it, it will spoil at a faster rate. disposable glad ware works best for me. i have a separate fridge just for fish food.....so i don't have to deal with the wifey's complaints.

I have a separate wife so if one starts complaining I don't have to deal with it although your way is probably cheaper.
