Does your light sensor work well ? My sensor detects "light" in pitch darkness but does not detect light when there is a light on in the room and I'm in front of the sensor shielding the light.

Does this make sense to anyone? If so plz explain this to me why this happens... Lol. How can I get my sensor to detect the light go off in the DT?

Try pulling it out and putting it back in, make sure it's unplugged. If it still doesn't work, send an email to fishstreet.com regarding. I had one that did that and they simply sent me another one

I had this issue w the older controller. I got a new one for $13 so far so good. Also the light from ur tank may be spilling into the sensor if your moonlights r bright like mine
