it doesn't take much to run copper or hypo salinity-i don't get why they let their livestock get like that. petco sometimes has great deals and i'm sure they make a ton of money. they should invest some in training or hiring people who understand the hobby!
I went into a Petco here on the Island. It had just opened up I stopped in just to see what it was all about (I had never been in one). I saw a really cool Sailfin Tang that had ich really bad. I bought a Frisbee for my dog and left. I returned about 3 weeks later and saw the same fish still with ich. I asked the guy working there why they don't do anything, like qt the sick fish to nurse them back? He told me he knows what needs to be done, but corporate won't allow anything other than observation and occasional dips. I felt sad for the fish. I bought a Frisbee for my dog and left. That is the extent of my Petco ventures. I'd rather pay more and support local business that cares!
Believe it or not, teaching him to catch a Frisbee in mid-air has helped his squirell chasing abilities! But yeah, he chews them pretty good sometimes. I gotta find a new place to get Frisbees from. Support small local business. Not corporate "Big Box" stores that don't care about you, your hobby, nor do they care about proper husbandry or preservation. Only your dinero.
