Tony, I think (I haven't read Joyce Wilkersons book yet) that it takes about 8-10 days for eggs to hatch.

The eggs are still there and the clowns are guarding them.

Here's a couple of pic I was able to take.
This is at night with the flash. I was afraid to take it in fear of giving the poor clown a heart attack from the flash. Sorry for the poor quality, it was at night.

This is when the daylights just came on.
Another five minutes and the wall hammers' polyps get fully extended
and there is no seeing the eggs till the next night.
