For a tank that small I would DIY something. you can get clear PVC and get some hose and a few end caps. Or try one of the nano sites.

If you want something custom, its gonna cost you. or you can DIY with parts from Avastmarine.com.

The easiest would be to pick up a BRS media reactor and then use accordingly.

Would the aquamax CR 1 work with media? I like the external pump biocubes have heat issues and I can't have another pump in there

You'll still need a pump to get water into the reactor, unless you can gravity feed it from your main tank and have the effluent run into your sump (which I don't think you have)

I hear you on not wanting to have another pump in the tank, having a small tank can be a PITA sometimes.

AquaMaxx CR-1 Nano Calcium Reactor. Has everything I'm looking for I just don't know if you can use it with media like phosban or something like it. Does anybody know if it can be used?

Called marine depot they said it would not work flow rate is to low. He recommend this AquaMaxx Fluidized Filter Media Reactor just have to figure out how to run it with an external pump.

Why dont you just drill holes in the back of the hood above the return chamber 2 or 4 if running just gfo or gfo and carbon big enough to put the lines through, then cut 90 degree elbows shorter and put them on both sides of the hood into the tubing? That way you can run external pumps and put the reactors in your stand if you wanted to and you could silicone around the tubing just to make it that much more solid and sealed completely.

If the tank was empty I would consider doing that
