Algae Eating Coral?

The algae appears to be attacking and killing the coral. Any idea what it is and how to prevent it from happening?

It looks to me like green hair algy and the torch looks a little bleached ur
Parameter might be off give us some more info so we can better help u

u got some issues on your parameters. i would say phosphates but let us know what those levels are and dont say they are good lol

+1 on the coral looks bleached. The coral is dying and the algae is just taking advantage of dying tissue. Is it a new coral? New lights? Hows the water parameters? What other corals do you have and are they looking okay or stressed?
