help with algee and evap

hey i have a quick ? i have 2 tanks 10 gal and a 30 gal and i have green alge that grows on the acrlic under the light i have tried everything to get rid of it total blackout for 3 days scrubin off but it just keeps coming back i have to clean it off at least 3 times a month any ideas the tanks have been setup for 5mths 10 gall 30 gall 4mths had tanks b4 never had this problem. Also evap is way bad have to refill at least 2.5 gals 1 time a week any advice will help

do you do water changes, or just evap topoff ?

a surface that close to the light will almost invariably get algae on it-not much you can do but wipe it off regularly-it's not THAT big of a hassle

just top off but i do water changes monthly due to minimal bio load
