Hello, all. This is my first post here, so please bear with me.

I have a four year old African Clawed male Frog. He's about 2 1/2 inches long.

I just got a young male friend for him. The youngster (not sure of his age) is about 1 3/4 inches long.

How big should my little guy be before I put him with my older frog?

i think he will be fine as is now...African clawed frogs are pretty passive..if it were a small fry of a fish, i can see it eating it but given the size of the new companion, i dont foresee a problem :D

He's probably big enough but I would keep a close eye on them incase some aggression starts or you will be back to one frog :!:

IIRC males may fight. Try putting the 2 tanks next to each other so the frogs can see each other and get the greeting agression over with with glass in between them.
