I got one a week ago. Nice colors and is out and about after one day. After another day he moved up from the bottom to a perch about midway up the rock. I don't see him eat. My other fish are all carnivors and the food I use is geared to them. I tried some nori but so far seems to ignore it. Any suggestions.

It took a while before mine ate. I weaned him onto frozen cyclop-eeze by turning off the flow and turkey-basting it in front of him. Mine seemed to be a slower eater, often watching food pass by before going for it. Sadly he was a carpet diver, so make sure you have a lid.

Great personality and color, one of my favorite fish!

Yes I have a cover. And today he did eat chopped silversides. I was really surprised because they are listed as herbovores. And in your case that is also carnivor food so I gues they eat both types. Probably still need to find some food with algae for him.

Well, someone suggested veggie wafers. So I tried it and he went straight for it.
