So. as you know I have 2 erectus seahorses.
I like the idea of a community tank.
Im looking for fish suggestions.
They must be peaceful and able to live with shrimp!

I feel my seahorses can hold their own.
have them for a while already, just looking to get some other colorful fish.
So far I have:
a pair of red firefish
midas blenny
tiny clown goby
randalls goby w/ pistol shrimp
fire shrimp
cleaner shrimp

Facts:
I have a 60 gal cube with a 20 gal sump.
all is well and balanced. have tons of zoas,
no stinging corals. and a few diff gorgs.

What would you suggest for my tank?
OR am I pushing it already?
I feed twice a day

I was thinking of 1 of the following:
a trio of Bangaii cardinals
a royal gramma
scooter blenny
what would you suggest?
Ive seen the seahorse compatability chart already,
just looking for options that might not be there.

want a peaceful tank just looking to
add another personality.

thanx

Bangaii cardinals would be a good choice, but I would be careful with royal gramma, they can be bullies. Also, I would not keep two blennies in one tank unless it's a really big aquarium. I don't know how your midas reacts, but while my blenny is peaceful to other fish, when I put a mirror next to him he goes crazy:)
My suggestions- a possum wrasse or chalk bass, both very peaceful from what I read.

Hey Marcin!
my midas stays on top, i thought if I get a scooter, he would stay low?
Also, have heard about the royal gramma being jerks too. wondering opinions. Hmmmm
also have heard most wrasses hunt down shrimp for dinner.
chalk bass, well, im gonna look it up!

Thanx buddy!

Possum wrasse is really small so I don't think he will be a threat. From my experience with wrasses they don't bother shrimps at all. But, my radiant used to pick on clam all the time.
I don't know about those blennies Joe. Scooter is hard to feed like mandarin, but again you managed to keep seahorses alive so you may have success with it.

I would stay away from the gramma. Mine is always darting around trying to get all of the food before the other fish (a little bit of a jerk, but so pretty!) Cardinals are pretty slow moving, so I think they'd be a viable option.

I'd be careful with a trio of banngaiis- they usually dont get on well with conspecifics unless they're a m/f pair. that trio would probably turn into two, or even just one, fairly quickly. there are other caridinal species that would get on in trios, like pajamas, however.

IMO I think the scooter and the midas blenny would be okay. scooter 'blennies' are really dragonets, and when blennies are aggressive with eachother its usually because they inhabit similar spaces or look alike. scooter dragonets and midas blennies look eaxtremely different, and if people can keep mandarins and midas blennies together, then I dont think its a stretch to think that a scooter dragonet and a midas would be okay. I'd be more worried about feeding, I'd probably train it to take frozen.

I think a possum wrasse would be a great addition; their are those wrasses who will eat shrimp, but those are usually they very large aggressive species, the smaller ones like fairies and flashers and possums tend to leave all but the smallest shrimp (like sexies) alone, and most of those wont even have a problem with sexies.
