Recently had an outbreak of Ick that consumed 4 of 5 fish in my tank. I noticed the signs early and started treating the tank with Kordons Ick Attack. It boasts its organic and reef safe and an effective treament for a multitude of parasites.

After a week of its recommended double doses I noticed no positive effect on the Ick. It did not prevent the uneffected fish from getting the disease or help the fish to fight off the disease. Basically all it did was make my tank smell as the product itself reeks of decaying plants.

Just my 2 cents for those that may consider this product in the future...dont waste your time and the well being of your fish. Give them a fighting chance and use something else.

Sorry t hear about your loss. Unfortunately most of the ick treatments are "snake oil" and dont do a damn thing. The only true ways to defeat ick is Hyposalinity and copper. Obviously copper is outta the question in our reefs. I usually just feed well with a garlic supplement and hope for the best. If the fishes immune system is ggod, theres nothing to worry about.
