thanks for the opininon. I figured alot of rockwork and two really small gobies would work. I had a clown goby that lived in a 10 gallon sump and everytime I saw him I would celebrate. I might try it. Dont call PETA on me.
and I can fit 3 sexy shrimp in a 3 gallon? I have 2 hermits and 1 snail in there right now. I plan on making the tank a softie reef probably with xenia, gsp, ricordeas, and some other stuff like that
Two the same that are not a pair will not work even in a 20 gallon. You may have a problem keeping any fish alive in that small tank for any length of time.
i had a pair of tiger gobies and a pair of masked gobies in a 9g and they got along fine. the never formed mated pairs either. but maybe neons are different.
Keeping a fish in a 3 gallon can definitely be done. And keeping the salinity stable in a 3 gallon can also be done fairly easily. As long as you are around to top off, and buff the ph occasionally, it really isn't much maintenance. Going on vacation for a week and keeping the salinity stable can't be done. I think I am going to try a green clown goby and a neon goby. My two cents is that 5 gallons of rock and alot of coral cover and it might as well be a 75. Feel free to debate.
