...zoanthids. Naturally he wouldn't eat the button polyps that grow like weeds in my tank. :grumpy:
I've had him for years and this is the first time he's touched any coral of any sort. I did tank maintainance yesterday and moved a rock with my last surviving little colony of radioactive dragon eyes so it would get a little more light. I was checking out the tank today and there were nothing but teeth marks where the zoas were yesterday.
This may be partly my fault. I've been having nitrate problems and feeding the fish less, so he may not getting as much food as he wants.
Anybody know if he can be reformed and turned back into a non zoanthid eating foxface, or is it once they get a taste for zoas they will always be on the menu?
