Pyramid snails & wrasses

Found some Pyramid snails when I took out sone Zoo rocks. I had a large nasty mean 6 line for a couple of years in the tank that kept them in control but he recently jumped out, was wondering if a Mystery or Radiant will also do the job for pyramids?

Fairy wrasses are not good for the job correct?

i think 6 lines get a bad rap.ive had mine for over 2 year and he does not bother a thing.not even when i add new fish to the tank.he keeps my tank pest free.also pod free lol.its pretty big now and never saw it chase any fish at all.

Duke,
When six lines get to be about 3+ inches, they will kill any new wrasse that you try to introduce.
That same six-line was about $15 when I bought it 3 yrs ago and a year later when I tried to put a $150 Mystery wrasse in the same tank, the six-line killed it in a day. I tried larger Fairy wrasses at another time and same result.

I just read up on both the Mystery and Radiant and it seems like both will do the job for pyramidellid snails.

Coris wrasses are good at it warren

i never put another wrasse in the same size and look as the 6 line just a pink face wrasse.so i guess i havent expierenced the nastiness yet..
