Pro-Cons feeding smelt?

I know it's bad to feed smelts...:argue:
but at 18 bucks for a large pack of silversides is killing my wallet! DAM my fish eat better then me!...lol.
I have 4 - morays eels average size are 20 inches plus...
2 - show size fish 12 inches and thick!
3 - medium fish 4-7 inches
AN GROWING!

Any input is highly appriciated?:fight2:

Go to a tackle and bait store, they have stuff look like silverside for cheap.(spirring)

Don't do that They soak the spearing in formaldehyde.

I forgot you have to ask if they soak it first. Most places near me don't soak it in formaldehyde.The places who dont sell it that much soak it for some reason?
Also I go to the fish market, they sell it all year. I don't know who would eat this stuff???
Also in Freeport were I live they sell it for like $30 for a 3gal bucket full of them. In the spring is the best time to buy it. Let me know if you want me to order one for you.
